Behind Vantage Bureau

My experience didn’t start in an office — it started young, in family-run businesses where everyone mucked in and roles naturally overlapped.
Most of the businesses I worked in growing up were my dad’s — from accountancy to van and trailer hire — so I was always around it. Whether that was scanning paperwork, helping move vans around the yard, or just getting involved where I could, I learned early that if something needed doing, you just got on with it.
I’m really grateful for that environment because it taught me how businesses actually run day-to-day. There wasn’t a fixed role — you noticed what needed doing, adapted, and got it done properly.
Growing up with dyslexia meant things weren’t always straightforward. School was hard at times, and I definitely had to work harder than most. But it forced me to figure things out in my own way — to stay organised, double-check things, and not give up when something didn’t come easily.
Alongside school, I worked in different environments — cafés, accountancy, and helping with bookkeeping — building a strong work ethic early on and learning how to deal with people properly.
As I got older, I moved into more structured roles. I worked front of house in a high-end health spa and hotel, then into retail management, followed by luxury retail at Beaverbrooks working with jewellery, diamonds, and watches. I later became a Gucci Brand Ambassador, where presentation, trust, and attention to detail were everything.
I also have ongoing experience in property management and still support my family’s property business, working with HMOs and helping keep things organised and running smoothly.
Later, I balanced two roles alongside university — working in admin and PA support whilst studying. I graduated on 23rd June 2025, turned 22 two days later, and launched Vantage Bureau on 9th July.
What clients can expect from me
I’m organised, reliable, and I take ownership. I don’t need constant direction, and I understand how important it is to keep things moving, communicate properly, and represent your business well. I naturally look for ways to improve how things are done, and I don’t settle — I keep going until it’s handled properly.
